Resumo:On 01.06.2012, the revised Swiss Rules of International Arbitration entered into force. The 2004 Swiss Rules of International Arbitration were allread know as a modern set of international arbitration. Therefore, the revision process undertaken in 2010 was meant to be light, the main idea being to draw on the experience acquired since 2004 and introduce aome new features such as the emergency relief procedure. The revised Swiss Rules of International Arbitration continue to offer a learn, yet effective, administration while preserving the required flexibility for the arbitral tribunal and the parties to shape the proceedings according to the specificities of each case. They are suited both for large and smaller cases.
