Resumo:Apresenta tabelas e gráficos com dados estatísticos sobre: litigation and the indeterminacy of legal rules; constitutional provisions most frequently considered in US Supreme Court decisions, 1946-2011; constitution-making and judicial drift; constitutional rigidity and judicial activism in 35 democracies; redistributive vs. efficiency-oriented policies; judicial review and human rights, descriptive statistics; judicial review, physical integrity and empowerment rights; regressing measures of human rights protection on constitutional review; pairwise correlations; judicial review and empowerment rights after eliminating the effect of GDP, ethnic fractionalization, democration, inequality and judicial independence.
